The only commercial flood-barrier maker we could verify with built work in Indiana, and the verification comes from outside the company: 15 passive floodgates in the 2,400 ft floodwall at Columbus Regional Hospital (documented in a FEMA case study), automatic floodgates at Cummins' Columbus engine plant, and 663 ft of FreeView barrier on the White River in Indianapolis, designed by the USACE Louisville District and sponsored by the City of Indianapolis DPW.

Manufacturers appearing on it include ILC Dover, PS Industries, Presray, AquaFence, Geodesign and Flood Control International. Checked against that register: FloodBreak does NOT appear. Its own material claims no FM Approval either, only ISO and ASFPM membership. Any 'FEMA-certified' wording used by installers of its gates is inaccurate - FEMA certifies no flood barrier product.

Honest limitation: they publish no FM Approvals or ANSI/FM 2510 product certification, only ISO and ASFPM membership; the third-party validation on record is USACE testing tied to specific projects, which is project acceptance rather than a product certification. Ask for the model and certificate before comparing them against an FM Approved product. Certification status resolved: the authoritative ANSI/FM 2510 certified-products register was located after this entry was first written, and this firm does not appear on it.
